Ball Valves are one of the most widely used type of valve available. They are intended for on-off application i.e. fully open or fully closed. Exception to this rule can be ball valves specifically for flow control application. However, most available ball valves are not intended for ‘control’ service. If they are used in this way, both valve seats and ball may be severely damaged. Ball Valves can be supplied in ‘Full’ or ‘Reduced’ bore, ‘Floating or Seat Supported’ or ‘Trunnion Mounted’ ball. Whatever your application, PEB experience will ensure the correct valve selection every time.
