Foam Type Pipeline Pigs
Foam pigs are typically bullet shaped and they are manufactured from foam that can be supplied in various densities. The higher the density, the more durable but also the stiffer it becomes. It can be bare, partially or completely covered with polyurethane. The most common variety will be covered with criss-cross pu banding which makes it more flexible for traversing sharper bends, but the exposed foam can absorb medium.
