Pipeline Pig Launchers.
PEB Pipeline Equipment B.V. will engineer and manufacture Pig Launchers to a variety of pressure vessel design codes. Therefore they will meet the most stringent customer demands and can be used for any application. There are a number of Quick Opening Closure designs at our disposal with a large variety of safety features, each of which can be tailored to suit the client’s operating conditions .
Dedicated Pig Launchers will have a relatively short minor barrel section and a major barrel that is substantially longer. This is because the criterion which determines barrel lengths differs between a launcher and a receiver. For a Pig launcher, the maximum pig length that you want to launch will need to fit in the major barrel whilst still being able to close the quick opening closure. The launcher will normally be fitted with a signaller close to the outlet flange.
